FINE ART & DESIGN
My work merges classical technique with contemporary form, shaped by my studies in Philadelphia and Italy and by the mentorship of Italo Scanga and Jonathan Shaun. Working in painting and sculpture, I draw from life, memory, and photography to explore impermanence, quiet observation, and the significance of everyday moments.
My years as an art director in New York refined my sense of composition and narrative, which continue to guide my visual language. I’ve been honored with Gold and Silver Awards from the Society of Illustrators in New York Los Angeles, the Art Directors Club of New York, AIGA, and the Clarion Awards.
My work is held in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institution, Cooper Hewitt Museum, and National Design Museum, and has been featured in Covers and Jackets! by Steven Heller, Print, Graphis, and American Illustrator. Now based in Austin, Texas, I approach each piece as a dialogue between precision and instinct—between presence and recollection.
